Are you interested in volunteering with Essa Minor Hockey this season to earn your bond points? Coach? Assistant Coach? Trainer? Manager? On-ice Help?
Each one of the positions have requirements before you can take on that role and work with the kids.... the summertime is a great chance to get all your certifications up to date and ready for the start of the season.
Every individual that volunteers with Essa Minor Hockey is required to have a criminal reference check. You can download the form
HERE. You need to take the form to the nearest OPP office with two pieces of ID. In most cases the nearest office is in Alliston, there are a few families in New Lowell that the one in Wasaga Beach is closer.

FAQ
Is there a cost to get a criminal reference check?
No
Will EMHA reimburse me for the cost of the courses?
Yes we will refund you 1/2 this season and the other 1/2 next season.
What coaching course do I need to take?
If you are coaching Timbit to Midget LL you need Coach 2 - Coach Level.
If you are coaching Peewee Rep, Bantam Rep or Midget Rep you need Development 1.
