John Prince Memorial Award
We have extended the deadline for nominations.... The award was created to honour the memory of John Prince. John was a pillar of spirit and volunteerism in the Essa hockey community. He filled the arena with his love of the game by sharing his personal hockey stories and his passion for skate sharpening to give our players the perfect cutting edge. Unbeknownst to many, John Prince donated hockey equipment and skate sharpening to those less fortunate kids that needed a little helping hand to remain playing hockey.  His pride in our Eagles was continuously demonstrated by the maintenance of the trophy case that stands to represent the achievements of the EMHA. Nominate HERE.

Our organization is where it is today because of dedicated people like John.

This annual award is set up to recognize an individual within the EMHA who has made an outstanding voluntary contribution that went above and beyond their regular duties during the hockey season.
