Tim Wardell is running a Goalie Clinic for Essa on Friday, November 28th for $10 per Essa child or $20 for outside of Essa.
Tim has run goalie clinics for this organization in the past as well as with the Clearview Icecats. He has also worked privately with goalies on a team to team basis, and have always found success. He is 33 yrs old and still plays goal competitively, but in his younger days he played Junior A Tier II as well as an Allstar in Jr C. He was also part of the team Canada program attending the under 17 camp.... many years ago.
He believes in hard work and solid fundamentals. In the past he has run summer camps for goalies and knows what each individual goalie needs and strives to help them improve on it.
There isn't a lot of ice time for goalies and during regular team practices they can affectionately identified as "plugs". Regardless of the current level of coaching you believe you child receives, don't let them miss out on a chance to have goalie specific instruction. Take out of it what you will, but if your child learns even ONE thing, the amount of effort he will demand will be well worth your investment.
