Confessions of a Minor Hockey Coach: The Truth About Parents
The Coaches’ Vision

We coach minor hockey because of the memories it left with us and the impact hockey had on our formative years. It’s the most powerful game on Earth, and we owe the game to give back.

Here’s what most coaches are trying to accomplish:
• everyone has a positive experience
• everyone has fun playing with their friends
• everyone gets better and learns skills on and off the ice
• everyone wants to come back next year in some capacity
