This is the 5th year
for the successful event where we celebrate Essa Minor Hockey!
It is an all day event running from 7am - 7:30pm
at the Angus Arena.
We start off with a Skills Competition, all players (Tyke - Midget) get to compete, with the top two from each team coming back in the evening for the finale.
There is a scheduled time for each team, each team needs their coach and traineron the ice. Two teams will be on the ice at a time but NOT competing with each other. Depending on the age group we have different skill events. Each event will give points to the players that will be explained on the day.
The top two players with the most points will advance (the fastest skater event is the tie breaker). Each EMHA participating player will receive a gift bag. The top 2 of each team will receive a jersey to wear in the skills finale.

Our afternoon events start with a Family Skate at 3:00pm followed by a competitive game between members of Essa’s coaching staff, graduating midgets and honoured guests at 4pm. It will be the kids turn to watch. Prior to that game we will have a ceremony to acknowledge Essa's achievements over the past year.
Our afternoon finale begins with the Timbits Celebration at 5:10pm. It will be an opportunity for everyone to remember where it all starts and watch the Essa players of the future show us what they've got in a combination of skills and games.
The BIG event of the evening is the "Skills Finals" competition at 6:10pm where we will get to watch the top two from each team that were selected during the day participate in an association-wide team relay.
Vendors & silent auction will be in the gym all-day from 8am to 6pm. Please come take a picture in our photo booth from 2:30 - 5:30pm. 107.5 Kool fm will be broadcasting from the rink all-day.
