Bond Program
2023-2024 Season
Purpose:
The purpose of the EMHA Bond Program is to encourage all association members to become actively involved in the organization.
Overview:

Bond is $200 for everyone (per family)

You must provide a post dated cheque payable to Essa Minor Hockey Association for February 15th, 2024 to your team manager by October 15th, 2023.

Each family will have to complete 8 bond points this season (lots of volunteer opportunities listed below).

If you complete all of your bond points, your cheque will not be cashed.

If you opt out of bond or don’t complete all of your bond points, your cheque will be cashed.

You must be 14 years of age or older to participate in the completion of bond points.

Bond points are non-transferable.

You will be given a sheet to fill out and sign by your team manager stating if you will be opting out of the bond program or participating in the bond program.

You will also be given a sheet to fill out after each event you volunteer for. If it is a team event, your manager will sign off on the event and if it’s an association event, an executive member will sign off on the event.
*Emails will be sent out at the beginning of each month to inform all association members of available volunteer opportunities (whole association events). If you’re interested in the event, you must send an email back to sign up for a time/day/shift.
